Born in County Down, Northern Ireland, Matt grew up with an absence of artistic interest. It wasn't until he came across the works of landscape photographers such as Joe Cornish and Charlie Waite that he really felt compelled to pick up a camera and try himself.

Since the beginnings of his obsession with photography, Matt has focused mainly on landscapes. However since being awarded an HND in photography in 2008 he has broadened his horizons and explored new fields within the photographic discipline.

He now lives in London and works as an interior photographer.
